Default ----Clear coat?------

I have a problem with the top of my (white) trunk. My clear coat has pealed in a couple of areas approx. 2"x4" in size. The previous owner never waxed the vehicle. My question is, is there anyway that I could take care of this without having to pay someone $200-$300 to repaint/reseal the trunk? I'm pretty handy when it comes to stuff like this, but I was woundering if anyone had any experiance from doing this in the past.
Thanks,
-Shadow-

If the clear coat is peeling there is pretty much nothing you can do about it. If you try to buff it out it's only going to make it worse. Sorry man, probably the only thing that is going to fix it is a re-spray. If you post pictures it will go a long way towards giving you a definite answer.
