body rust help

Default body rust help

i have a del sol and i have clear coat fading off the fenders and on the passenger side of the car..i have rust on the bottom of my doors..anyway i dont have the money for a full paint job i just wanted to know what i can do to get rid of the rust so i can make it through the winter...please help

option 2 would be either hand sand (too much work) or grind out the rust AND pitting and puting some rustoleum oil based primer over the reapair followed by some rustoleum gloss black (dont use spray cans, use brush on)

If it is all the way through you can patch and spot paint or you can spray some oil or rust stopper behind there to slow it. Keep your car washed and waxed. Salt kills metal.
