Adding Quarter panel Moldings
I just got my car back from getting it sprayed and I need Help I have a 93 cx and I added ex doors with fenders. I had the shaved doors and quarter panels for 8 years so I decided on doing it back to stock. My civic being a cx it does not have the peg holes to clip the moldings in any one have any suggestions?? I was thinking about using 3m tape but im scared that if I go to take it off it will adhere to strong to the body and peel the paint. Maybe I'm paranoid lol I thought of windshield molding urethane its thin and its no mess easy to peel if you heat it up with a heat gun anything else im not thinking of ? Ill post a pic in a couple minutes

Use a dremel with a diamond blade... Mark out where the holes would be and cut the squares out...
It's not hard... Put blue painters tape around your work area to help protect your paint if you slip...
Don't make the holes too big... The should be slightly smaller so the snap in like factory...

You could go either route but cutting would be the best. It is actually quite easy to remove the double sided foam tape.
If you are going to cut:
Like he said tape off the work error to reduce accidental scratching but does it really matter the scratches will be covered by the molding.
Just make sure that if you are going to cut it to properly treat the bare metal after you cut it to prevent rust.
If you are going to tape just make sure the paint is cured and you will have no issues with removing the tape if you do change your mind.
For removal:
3m adhesive remover and a plastic razor blade and some time.
