Default accident...

some jackass rear ended my 94 civic hb the other day. i took off the rear bumper cover. on the right side, the metal rail that the bumper covers, it's just messed up...beyond repair. can this be replaced, i wish i had pictures, but i don't. i don't even kno wat its called, im just going on a hunch that someone might kno wat im talkin about.it's the metal rail that the bumper (platsic) covers, wat absorbs all the impact...can it be repaired, or replaced. i didn't see any bolts that would lead me to believe so, and i really don't want to cut and weld, i'd rather leave as a loss.

I think I know what you're talking about. It might be the bumper reinforcement bar. On my gen civic, then can be bolted on and off. well, at least the front one, but you have to look for where the bumper meets the body of the car....maybe it'll work.

actually that rear beam can be unbolted from the inside if you take out the carpet and reveal the two bolts on each side. Hopefully there isn't any damage to the frame
