Default 93 Hatch

So I have a hood that's not aligning with my fenders and is smashing my headlights. PLEASE! Well the people that did the swap obviously didn't have a hoist so they cut the upper and lower supports for the front of the car. I had to "customize" my latch just so it will latch and lock. I see there is no center support brace like a lot of "stock" hatches have going from the top to bottom brace right next to the radiator. I was going to weld a bar in place of it but want to make sure that's my problem before I weld it. Any inputs would be a great help

By not aligning, I am assuming you mean the side of the hood is closer to one of the fenders than the other?
Is the hood putting pressure on the headlights, or does the hood just sit further up front that the headlights?
Some pictures would help.
Sounds like a hood alignment issue and possibly hood latch sitting too low.

I have good spacers I'd like to put on but since my hood isn't lining up with my fenders I don't think it'll look right. Like I said I don't have a support bar in the middle to lift up my upper support. I had to tac weld it just so it's held on because they cut it to do the swap

Hood is putting pressure on passenger side headlight

Hood is putting pressure on driver side headlight

No center support so I'm guessing that's why my hood is sitting so low because it's not putting my upper support up

Hood not lining up with fenders

Pressure on lights

Hood does stick out a little but that's because of my bolts holding the hood to latches. I can fix that but can't figure out why it's sitting lower then my fenders

Hood is a 9/10 condition no dents of bends so I'm fussing it's because I don't have the center support to lift up upper brace
