Default 3.1 tip???

i been waiting for something like this. the dupli-color paint shop ready mix paint. all ihave to do is strain it in the gun and shoot it on the car no mixin or anything. the only problem is it requires a paint gun wit a 3.1 tip and im havin trouble tryin to find a gun wit a tip that big. the largest tip i found is a 2.2 can anyone let me no where i can a gun wit a tip this large?

i'm pretty sure you're thinking of a 1.3 tip. 2.2 is too big for a automotive application

1.3 or 1.4 will be good, I dont kno from experience, but my best friends dad uses that size, and hes owned a body shop for 23 years

3.1, tip, LOL, good luck finding that, 2.2 is the largest I belive that they make , and I wouldn't shoot anything with that fluid tip/air cap besides thick Evercoat primer, just load that Duplicolor garbage in a shutz gun that's made for applying heavy undercoatings, I just hope you would never attempt to even try

anything past 1.7 is too big of a tip to spray paint or clear unless you like chip guard texture look on your car

yea, it must be a 1.3 tip. if a paint is that thick, i wouldn't want to spray it on my car and deal with all the runs after wards.
