Lol guys, check my sig. I more then know the ins and outs of a DSM. As far as Shep parts go, there are plenty of other options so having Shep parts is pretty common, and not much of a big deal at all unless you are talking about a Shep DogBox or T case. A Shep stage 3 transmission is the equivalent of a stage 2 TRE and a upper-mid Jack build etc. Basically a few of the gear sets are swapped with Evo 3 gear sets and a then the buyer has the option to add little tid bits or go higher to either a Shep stage 4 or a TRE stage 3 or Dog boxes etc etc.
I was just saying that because there is no "Shep spec QM clutch" QuarterMaster is its own company and is an offshoot of Devo and the orginal creator of it branched off and created PTT.
All in all his build is coming along nicely.
I also wondered what a Greddy 18g is, I am familiar with the Greddy 18gs that we use to run back in the Hondas loooooooong ago but I've not seen anyone use one on a DSM.
Just keep chuggin' along and remember not to get discouraged.
As you know, a 7.25 QM clutch can be mated to many different flywheels and used in many different vehicles.

I was only trying to say the clutch came from Shep.

The turbo I'm running is a mitsu tdo6 20g that was sold by greddy in their turbo kits for vehicles like the rx7. It's not a common turbo because few people spend the money on these kits...i only picked it up after a friend of mine bought it and rebuilt it.

Sweet gsx man! i have a 92 talon myself 6/4 with a dogboxracing tranny, and about to go holset soon, good luck with the turbo setup let us know how it pulls.
Here are some updated pics of the car. Only difference is with the valve cover, which I painted black today. Otherwise, the setup is the same as I continue to break the drivetrain in.
Washed/waxed it today along with taking a few pics at the gf's place.

The only ONE thing I HATE about eclipses is their gear shifter placement. It always is to close to me since I like to be semi-close to the steering wheel and I just feel bunched up when trying to shift my buddies 2g gsx.
I'm glad to see some fellow DSM's
Your car is verry clean and I can tell you really care about the details.
I'd like to ask a question though. Howcome you had decided to go with the
20g instead of the big 16g?
With your horsepower levels, you'd be able to enjoy the boost at a much lower rpm.
my evoIII big 16g was putting around 472 whp on my automatic.
again i am not dowing your car or decission, I'm curious as their may be a reason i don't know about.

hey kinda like the same question above; was the 20g not strong enough in terms of boost engagement or was it to low of a boost and what type of 20g? but i have to admit it is a very nice car indeed!
