Mr. B
Just got home from towing this home. When we got to the spot where it was parked and opened the door to see what was going on on the inside, we found this guy looking at us. Hence the name.
I don't really have a build thread. I can keep this one updated, though.
What I've done since bring him home is bought and cut out all new side/door panels and new cloth to cover them. The children tie-dyed each cloth so that each one is different than the other. I've pulled the carpet out, bought new foam insulation board and new carpet for the floor. I've also bought the material to recover all the interior seats and a pretty neat piece to cover the jump seat. I've received a new canvas for the pop top and torn out the old one. This bus came with 1.7L engine (not mounted/seized). Going with fully rebuilt 2.0L that came in the later models. Also waiting on the adjustable suspension to be completed.

A lot of changes have been made to this vehicle in the last couple of months. Freshly rebuilt engine and transmission. Fresh paint. Fresh wheels and tires. Fresh adjustable suspension.
All installed. Just have a couple of minor things to tidy up and all will be good.

That's the exact plan, dude. I've got a sticker of the US with outlined states and state stickers to put on the map each time we hit that particular state.
Of course, lolol.
Pictures will be up very soon.

There are four of us. Myself and my wife sleep in the back while my youngest sleeps on the cot suspended over the front seats and my daughter sleeps upstairs in the pop top.
The family has started a thing with the Mighty Buddha Bus where each Sunday we go on a day trip to just wherever. We'll stop at a small town restaurant and eat there. Last week, we went to Milledgeville and this week we went over to Senoia (both in Georgia). Both trips cost a bit over 130 miles each and was great.
Thanks for the compliments, fellas! Heading out on Sunday on a 1,500 mile, week long trip to the beach. Looking forward to this trip, that's for sure.
A bit has changed...
Put a step on it (my son likes and uses it) and a "permanent" side-mount awning and a rear STOP lamp...

And I just got the bus back again and we got a nice addition/replacement for it before our hundred million mile road trip in a week and a half. We got rid of the upstairs cot that came in the earlier models and fabricated a double bed that would come in the later years. SO much more room and looking more comfortable. We'll really put it to use for the next 2 weeks on our trip.
The original (early bay) cot...

The later (late bay) bed...
