Hello I drive a 2004 Chevy malibu maxx. I caught in a storm and run through a puddle. I sucked up water into my intake and after that it wont crank. I have changed the spark plugs...wires battery and alternator and it still will not crank. It clicks everytime I turn the key which made me buy a new battery and alternator but its not turning over.
So from what I have explained do I need a new engine...? Mind you I checked my oil and there was no water there either...
I am clueless as of right now and I am tired of taking the bus or asking for a ride...
Thank You...

Yes, you need a new motor. Odds are you bent the crank or a rod?
By any chance did you crank it w/o spark plugs? Might still have water in there if you didn't.

First try to turn the motor over by hand. Use a big breaker bar and socket and turn the motor. If you can't turn the motor...it is seized and needs replacement. If the motor turns by hand check the starter. With a volt meter do a voltage drop test on the starter. Verify the starter is getting voltage. If it isn't getting power then you need to check fuses/relays and diagnose why the starter isn't getting power.
