No Power to AC Compressor Clutch

No Power to AC Compressor Clutch
Honda Odyssey 2002
Any help on my current issue would be greatly appreciated.
Situation: The AC on my Ody started to blow warm (front and back). (2002 w/170K miles; Temp and Fan controls work properly).
(1) I looked to see if the AC compressor clutch was engaging and it was not.
(2) I checked the fuses and swapped relays and checked voltage at pins - no luck.
(3) I checked for voltage at the compressor connector with the AC set to max, fan high and no voltage.
(4) I jumped 12 volts from the battery and the clutch engaged.
(5) I started the van with the jumper in place and the air remained warm.
(6) I took a can of freon and added while the van was running. I used an entire can.
(7) The air began to blow cool, although it was apparent that more Freon was needed (based on the (I know) crappy gauge on the can).
Now I'm wondering next steps. I have read forums and watched (YouTube) videos and the possible culprits are:
(1) Broke wire between fuse box and compressor.
(2) ECU/ECM module needs to be replaced.
I also wonder where the Freon went (another issue).
Thanks in advance

Re: No Power to AC Compressor Clutch
if the air began to cool then that means the clutch came on, which means the issue is/was low freon
most systems need about a couple cans with the optimum amount being +- 2 ounces so not a lot of leeway to error
find and fix the leak, replace the drier, pull a vacuum for a half hour, recharge to spec
