00 odyssey starts up fine, then dies right away on hot days
so i have a 2000 honda odyssey that runs fine, but on hot days, it starts up fine, then idle drops and the car dies right away.. any suggestions?
i have no idea why it does it, but it only happens on hot days.. and to get it going, i just start it and throw it in gear right away, and that seams to work.. but that is no where near a fix.. (the odyssey idles normally when in gear)

Not sure about other models, but this is a huge issue with older civics. The issue is the main relay circuit board. When hot out, the solder joints for the fuel pump get intermittent. Try to find the main relay and tap tap tap while you start.
I've moved on several times without buying a new relaying by tapping it.
