Default Need help w/passing emissions

I recently failed an emission test in WA state, and was seeing if anybody knew how to bypass the test w/o swapping out the whole exhaust system. I'm currently running aftermarket headers with a carsound cat, and fujitusbo catback on an 01 type R. The Fault Code is P0420 Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold Bank 1. If anybody has any information that would be greatly appreciated. I would prefer avoiding the hassle of swapping my stock exhaust back in. Thanks so much!

you don't need to swap your stock exhaust.
i passed emissions without a catalytic converter.
this is what i used so my engine light dont come on.

they sell it at schucks or any other autoparts.
I also have this

works perfect. but not sure if i can pass emissions with it yet. i'll find out later when i take my car to emissions.

Or register out in the sticks. Granite Falls works.

Totally serious. Got a family friend that lives out there and used his address.

Or, replace the catalytic converter with one that actually works, and you won't have the P0420 code.

The key is getting the secondary O2 to send good info to the ECM...spark plug anti fouler trick is your best bet. Pulls the sensor out of exhaust stream enough to send a good reading.

I don't understand. If I failed emissions in Bellevue, why would I pass in Granite Falls? And also, why would I need a different address? Is it required by the emissions? And lastly, would I still pass if I failed once already and brought in my form that said I failed? I apologize for being so clueless. New to all of this. But I appreciate all the info!! Thanks.

some areas don't require emissions so that's why they telling you to register the car there.
no need 2 do this. all you gotta do is to get rid of the engine light and then u good 2 go.
the way i do it works pretty good.
i have a built GSR with high compression pistions, cams and more shiiitttt and i still pass emissions. all i do is Swap my test pipe for my catalytic convertor, put my obd2 ecu back. that's it. car idles pretty bad but still pass.
