yea the red civic that broke was a buddy of a buddy's. broke an axle, and that white sti was quick, so was taht evo that liked to free rev the **** out of his motor...

yeah evo's have like an auto launch control and thats why they always rev up that high, my friend has one and revs it all the time

i figured it was some sort of launch control, but it surprised me it revved up that high. my buddy shouldve ran his sr20 swapped ae86. nothing better then 298 at the wheels an 2030lb car

Evo's don't come with launch control that particular evo got it after its first tune.

I showed up scrubby, my car started acting up that day. Had no time to dress up, skipped school, it was still fun though.

actually evo's did come with a rev limiter from the factory.

mitsubishi engineers developed it for the front differential so huge amounts of torque wont break it, or somthing else.

...its a mitsubishi thing.

So, my Acura doesn't have a rev limiter. Only mitsubishi's do.

I kid. Sort of.

That evo did NOT have launch control before it got tuned, and no Mitsubishi doesn't throw in 2-step with their cars.

yes it is two different things, but some people use the rev limiter as a launching point.

That car is pretty built. At that time he was putting down just over 500. He's right at 600 now. Just hasn't really figured out how to drive it yet lol.
