Default Help passing emissions

Failed the idle part of the emissions test. I have a boosted d16y8 with stock internals. If anyone's been in this position or knows anything of how to pass please let me know. I can't get the car waived because of Washington state law for modded cars. Thanks guys!

Do you have a cat and 02 sensor on the car? Usually if you got a connect at an automotive shop they can just retard your timing..

I had this problem too and I just passed. I don't know about boost cars passing but my N/A did. I had my chipped ECU to stock basemap and had knock sensors off, etc. Drive for 10 miles before going in. I also used those fuel injector cleaner then filled up with good 92 octane. I was in line for not too long but someone told me to keep reving up to 2k-3k RPM and hold til it's your time to keep the cat hot. I also replaced my cat too as well. I didn't have a chance to do an oil change but I would recommend it. If your idle jumps up and down you must clean the IACV so it will resume back to near 500-900rpms on idle, hope this works! good luck.
