sounds good so far. glad to see someone taking initiative. what about the idea of a sunday instead of saturday? members have said in the past about working schedules not being flexible with sats

 

I've thought about it, but others have stressed church and what not. I'll see if the sunday is available. the lady did ask if we wanted to set it up as a two day event, so I'll see if the 15th is available. I'll have to figure out how to do a poll to see who would rather do a sunday vs. a saturday

I was hoping later!... haha End of August or September so I can actually make it with my car.

 

I tried to get august 21st or 28th, but both days were full, and I didn't think anyone would go for september. I wouldn't do it the 4th of september because that's labor day weekend and I know alot of people do stuff like camping or go on trips. Than I thought later in september would be too late.
It was mid august last year and it turned out great.
I'm still waiting to hear back from Marymoor.
I'll ask the Marymoor contact if september 11th is available, if it is I'll start a poll thread to see which date people would rather have it.

YES keep it on a saturday. Arent there other places too? Has anybody ever though about maybe doing it at the that big *** parking lot next to Husky stadium, I think usually saturday after 12noon and sunday are free to park too since I know their other parking lots on saturday and sunday are free.

 

yeah, I just know some many people like Marymoor. it's a good location, nice roads, the speed bumps are do-able since their long and low, easier to get over for most people.
if someone wants to PM me and we can try and set something up. I don't know of too many other locations. I wouldn't mind the help

So...I just heard back from the kind county parks official. They would charge us $5 dollars to park, that's the going right for event parking at the park. We would have access to the same location as last years end of summer meet, and the only date available really is August 14th. all saturdays in September are booked, as well as later is August.
Let me know what everyone thinks, and if you have any ideas for alternate locations let's hear it.
I'm fine with paying $5 bucks, Marymoor is a great location, just want to get your input first.

next year it might even be cheaper or free...

but no hate though, big ups for putting in some work! i found this superrrrrr big spot ... but im gonna save it for next year's meet. don't wanna give out too much details.

 

why keep it a secret? aren't we gonna do pacific raceways next year anyways since their going to let us use the paved spot?

 

i might use it for beginning of summer or end of summer meet, not sure what i wanna do yet.
