Bangor scene will be SICK once I get my car running

 

the scene outside of boston's where its at. People should go to import wars this saturday.

 

i was thinking about running my car at import wars. any idea how much it cost to enter?

There use to be gatherings down town on Friday or Saturday nights and people would go from there and race down the end of I395. Speedway 95 doesn't run street cars. Your best bet is Winterport Dragway http://www.WinterportDragway.com They have bracket racing every Sunday. They also have street nights a few times each year. Street night is pretty much just fun run style racing you car race whoever you want there is no trophy or money just bragging rights. Allot of tuners show up on street nights and there is usually a car show and regular bracket racing early in the day. This is the safest way, you don't have to worry about cops and its cheap too. The next street night is Aug. 9.

If you like turning while you race you should check out an autocross event http://www.cumberlandmotorclub.com . Most of the events are in Southern Maine this year but it's worth the trip. I am trying to attend all of them this year and there are a couple of my friends that travel down with me with there cars. Everyone at the events are really nice and willing help out new drivers. There are allot of cool cars that come out and you can ride along with other people. One of the last events I got a crazy ride in a twin turbo Dodge Viper and a Lotus Elise. I was just kidding about the speedway 95.

the only thing that sucks about winterport is 1/8 mile. not the 1/4.

Yea but you just multiply your time by 2 and you have the 1/4 mile.

haha yes I have, but that damn thread moves faster than the f/s classifieds, and I stopped going on it because I could neer keep up with what people were talking about and there dumb little inside jokes. lol. And ya know... give me about 24hrs to tell you 100% but I think I'm keeping the Sol.

just look at this whenever you think about getting rid of it

 

i have a shop i just started in freeport .. I try to just keep it honda but i will work on anything...if anyone needs body work or a swap or anything look me up the shop is called BEEBES (2078653151). for now.

I know you say bodywork, but does that mean you paint entire cars?

i KNow where your shop is i drive by it alot. i got to the freeport junk yard alot that near you. i will have to stop by your shop friday.

 

Yes he can paint full cars. His shop has 3 bays. 1 has a full lift the other has a body work lift and the 3rd bay is seperate and is a paint booth. He sells used cars outa the lot as well. Mostly hondas

 

ya on rt1 off the last freeport exit going north.
