i have the SS and swapped it in for the FM that i had. The FM is more responsive but has poor range. The SS has to "think" a second after pushing the button.

I installed mine myself and it was not terribly hard. There are wiring diagrams on the internet if you search around. I paid someone a little extra when i bought mine and he talked me through everything start to finish and it works like a charm!!

best alarm out there for the money esp for manual turbo cars.

yeah im not sure how they stole it but from how the car was when it was recovered they jimmyed open the door pop hood cut siren and pushed my car away. i had an autolock on and it was still on too

id probably get another one maybe the SS one and hide the siren a little better.

This is odd i've been a firstech (compustars parent name) dealer for quite some time and they HIGHLY frown on selling the plain unit uninstalled ... not only does selling the unit over the counter void the warranty they won't be dealing with you anymore.
not to mention your not to farmiliar with the product itself

my friend jsut sold me the control unit from his car that the previous owner disabled the whole alarm system.

is there anyways to purchase everything else like wiring, sensors, remote, etc?

if so how much would that be.

You will have to check with your local shop for install pricing. The SS has better range but it has been giving some problems with the remote, compustar still has to fix this problem

where it has a paging system also?

shorter range? how much short compared to the others 1.5 mile range?

Yes its the same alarm in the mag the as is 3/4 mile range
