thats what happens when you drive a good home-grown fast/fun car. everyone with dealership bought horsepower thinks that they can race and win and then they try to race. it used to be the same down here and for all I know it may be the same, but Im not one of those guys with a good well modified car anymore. just a daily driver.
its getting worse, $hit happens like everyday now and im soooooo annoyed.....i think its time to break out the bicycle and pedal my a$$ everywhere

ughhh so i had an encounter with one of those "i sit hella flush, look at my body kit, i have dual intakes and fart cans" Z owners today driving home in my s13 on rt53....guy has a red 370z and pulls out mindlessly onto 53 and army trail rd from the citgo there nearly hitting me causing me to swerve into the turn lane and cutting off a semi...im pissed at this point then i see him cutting in and out of traffic to get next to me, mind that theres a pretty good amount of traffic in front of us heading towards 64 at 3pm. so he finally gets next to me and starts blipping the throttle when we both had semi's in front of us i look over at him like wtf are you doing and its some bald guy in his like 40's so give him a thumbs down and continue to putt home. so as im in the turn lane for 64 guess who pulls up next to me at the red light...hes in the lane that goes straight and starts reving his ****....i look over at this point again because i cant hear my kid cudi that i had playing and he flips me off so im even more confused at this point and so i yell okay ***got. as soon as i get the green arrow, z owners light is still red, i hear a screech and horns and the *** blew the red light nearly hitting a van.................you sir are a ricer

lol you guys make it seem like almost every car there have rust. Man i was watching about how bad the weather is there on youtube, its freaking bad alright! Cali aint got none of those crazy weather. FML when i move there.

hahaha, its not that bad! you get use to it. Not ever car has rust also... The rust just helps weed out the week. The racing scene here is 100% better then calli.

You must embrace the rust your car will develop. Look at it like this, Chicago is know for its awesome food, so as the car rusts out, and loses weight, it will balance the weight you'll gain from all the good eats. Trust me, I'll drive a half hour into the city or into the south for a good meal.
As for the show scene, you got that right about cali. But as kyle mentioned, the racing here solid, no CARB certs needed, anything OBD1 and older has no emissions. Its a beautiful thing. Rust is a small price for freedom. And the snow makes for some fun E-brake action. I call it grown mans sledding.
