may want to post in the regional forums (midwest) or on a local forum. chicago is a big town, so you'll likely find someone with experience...

Got an engine and trans from them for my Miata. I have about 5k on it (including a few track days) and it's fine so far.

They have a lot of stuff in stock but they were only open 7am-4pm weekdays when I got my stuff so plan accordingly.

So they have two gsr clips, in stock. One B16, which was leaking from the head. The newer gsr clip, we asked them for a compression test and cylinder #1 200 #2 175 #3 200 #4 155 , then they sprayed something in those cylinders and the compression improved 200 all across. I decided to pass on that clip after the test. I guess I will be oredering a swap from Steve, hear nothing but good things about hmotors.

Looking for more feedback.

Can't find anything local in WI so this would be the next best spot to find one.

I know theres been good and bad but if they compression test the motor for you it should be okay yeah?
