Hi all. To make a long story short, the EJ25 I had in my '93 Impreza just took a crap on me. I haven't investigated thoroughly yet, but the sounds coming from the engine are REALLY nasty. Original mileage was estimated at a very rough 250K, so it's not entirely unexpected. ANYWAY.

I'm looking for an '00 EJ25 block, or anything else I can swap in that's REALLY cheap and with very limited modification required. I have super limited resources here (money, space, time, and tools), so as much as I'd like to throw a WRX motor in, it's not gonna happen. CHEAP is the most important thing here. I'm located in Naperville, and can come pick something up within a reasonable distance.

I'm ALSO looking for a garage and/or someone with an engine hoist. The engine hoist is the more difficult thing for me to find.
