possible scammer....jbroker

<since the member told me he will get MY stuff to me when HE feels like it in quote.and thats why his name is shown now!!!!! i gave his many chances and told him i would come closer 2 meet(he only lives 1.5-2hrs away) but continues to not want to give me whats mine.


ok so here is what has transpired as of late. i had a set of MINT 99,00 si wheels i made a deal with a fellow h-t member(i will not give him up yet) and after a week i have yet 2 get my end of the deal.
*i gave him the mint si wheels(300-350)value
*i was 2 get help working on my car
*another set of 15s with my old tires on them so i could move my shell around.
*and a tune-chips for my ecu
i alowed the h-t member 2 take the si wheels to his place of work 2 save him money (est 80+- bucks)on mount and balance cost since he was keeping his fresh tires and i was keeping my ok tires. the member told me he had 2 order more chips 2 make mine and would return the 15s with my old tires,my chip in a few days. this was the begining of the week. since then the h-t member has responded 2 me but continues 2 tell me reasons on why he cant drive the agreed distance(my house 1.5hrs from him) since he was making out on the deal i just wanted 2 not have 2 drive all over on a untuned car. so as the days go by im left with a shell in my garage with no wheels sitting in my way(over my pit) and a car that i cant drive cause i need the chip(chips) i was 2 have early this week. as far as im concerned if i do not get what im susposed 2 i will release the name of the fellow h-t member give out his number and everything else i know about him. if he comes threw like i hope he will i will discard this pose asap so he will not be ofended by it.

ya think ur helping a guy out by leting him save 80bucks and doing the tire swaping himself. now its an impossable thought 2 drive 2hrs to make good with a deal. oh well if not taken care of soon like next day or 2 ill make good of it on my own. with my boy!!!

the kid calls honda-tech(hater-tech) proly cause he tries 2 mess with ppl so much.

but on the other side i got the spare wheels and the chip from him this morning(pissed that i had 2 work all night 2b home when he could come). but i knew if i didnt then id be f'ed again by him. but he finished up his end for the most part.
but ill never do business with him unless i get mine 1st

 

I know this kid personally, and I have messaged him to have him chime in here. I know he is out of town (Spain) at the moment and he said he will get in here when he can.

My advice to you would be instead of bashing his username which isn't even near what his is (jbrokos307), I suggest you be more mature about it and it may help you get to the bottom of things a little quicker.

 

Not to be a dick but your dumb for trusting anyone on h-t that you dont know. It is messed up but people these days are only out for them self. It should not of taken so long for you to get your end of the deal. And if he told you will get it when he is ready, you should of smack the **** out of him when he gave you your stuff.

 

I bought a set of wheels off of him last year and everything went nice and smooth. Seemed like a real nice guy. Im not taking sides, just stating my experience with the guy.

 

all is done with this deal. the guy is ok other than thinking its ok 2 leave ppl hanging like he has. he knows a bit about the computer aspect of the game and ill give him that. not saying i wont ever talk 2 him ask a question or anything, just wont do business. i know he will be out of town he txt me 2day proly cause he was told about the thread,and i dont care if his user name is jbrokos2143526245 i got my point across. i dont know how a guy is 2b more mature about the topic. mayb put ur car on blocks and take the ecu our of ur other car for 2 weeks and well see how you like it when ur told ull get ur stuff when someone feels like it when it was susposed 2b a deal that took mayb 5 days. enough said, only reason this is still on here is so ppl in the future can see the h-t members for something other than a user name and a friendly voice on the cell.

 

Ok first of all, his grandmother just passed away.. Secondly I think that is why he is in Spain if I'm not mistaken.

I know you aren't jumping to conclusions that he's a scammer, but the kid has never done me wrong (and I don't know him on a "friend" level so I'm not taking up) but I don't think any of this was his intention.

I told him about the thread VIA text message, he's bought stuff from me in the past and he's just a cool kid to sit and talk to even though he's a little odd ball sometimes lol.

Yes you did get your point across but you spelled his username wrong and anyone else wouldn't know who the hell he is without me clarifying it.

I think I'll keep my Work wheels on my Type-R and my Volk wheels on my s2000, so we can pass on the putting my car on blocks because I haven't seen my s2000 in more than a month anyway because its been sitting in a shop. I know how it feels to actually be 'scammed' but I am sure its not Josh's intention to do so with you.

I am sure he has a legit explanation as to what's going on even though it has inconvenienced you and I am sure this will be worked out.

Just get it taken care of, I think the situation is understandable but sometimes others don't. I know downtime sucks with cars, but sometimes other people run into issues where it is necessary to put other things first and thats how life sometimes goes. If you can get someone else to drop off his parts or something like that, I think the problem will be resolved and this thread will be locked before it goes any further. As for the address, I will have that taken care of due to the fact I would not like my address on the web for theft risk.

Get him his **** as soon as possible, if even you have to ask someone else to do it to help the situation and leave it at that.

iv had my stuff since my last post. and the only reason all of josh's info was posted is because i told him i would and he told me 2do so that id get my **** when he felt like it. 2b honest i dont care about any1s personal isues i care about what is said and what is done. i had done/trusted some1(my dumb fault) i expect NO MATER what happens when some1 says there going 2do something they do it. if you lived like 4-5 hrs away cool iv drove out of my way many times when iv made deals with ppl 2 make sure they get theirs when there susposed to. SO **** LIKE THIS DONT HAPPEN 2ME...(and dont kid urself i doubt ur going to (KILL) any1 esp since uv just typed in in a public posting...so enough with the big talk...everything is done and taken care of..

not my business but i do remember him telling me like a month ago he was going 2 spain. so if hes gone and something happens not my deal iv edited the post so the address isnt on there..but to any1 that i eal with in the future let this post be known i dont like 2 be given a runaround.

Obviously you're an ******* if you have no respect for anyone else's family member passing, like you said.. It's your fault for trusting someone, but I'm sure it wasn't his intention for this to happen and no one can control when a loved one passes so you should defiantly reconsider your approach to things next time around.
