Default What color HIDs?

I have a teal 1994 civic 2dr and I can't decide between pure white HIDs(6000k) and white with a blue tinge(8000k). What would look the best?

neither. silverstar bulbs are more than adequate. unless this is some kind of oem retrofit, it is cheap chinese garbage rice.

4300k. Everything else is rice, and even that slight blue tint is ugly as hell imo. Do yourself a favor and do a retrofit. You shouldn't have HID's at all unless you retrofit, unless you don't care about your car

if your heart is set on HID's, id suggest doing a projector retro, and sticking with an OEM 4300k temp rating. if you don't want to do a retro, id just get a good pair of halogen bulbs like silverstars or something, so you won't blind everyone with the glare from HID's in halogen housings.

retrofit is better-than OEM quality. HID Projector lighting is one of the best upgrades you can make to your vehicle. Enhanced night-time driving, better visibility/safety and the exotic aesthetics are just a few of the features you can expect from this type of upgrade.

For your car they do offer an HID kit ( H4 ) for the reflector housing that has a glare shield built in. Look for the Bi-xenon kits. Just dont get the base model kit that looses the high beam
