TAIL LIGHT PROBLEM

Default TAIL LIGHT PROBLEM

I just put in si tail lights. All i did was plug them i didnt mess with the wiring at all.
When i press on my brake both of my blinkers come on and stay on until i let go. What can be the problem?

not Si tail lights, 99 to 00 tail lights

cut and switch the wires

maybe you put the bulbs in wronf spots.
see what happens when your emergency lights flashes.

the emergency lights flash normal, and the blinters work normal until the brake is pressed then the energency lights are on steady until the brake is off

What?

The lights you say you installed are '99-'00 Civic coupe taillights. They're the same for all USDM '99-'00 Civic coupes (DX, EX, HX, and Si).

The wiring harnesses should look basically the same as your '96-'98 taillight harness, only the turn signal bulb is different.

well the turn signals work unless the brake is pressed then they both stay on until i release the brake , how can i fix that?

There is no way that what you're describing would occur unless something happened to the wiring when you installed them.
