Default S2000 Projector cut-off wtf?

so i parted out these s2000 headlights that i was gonna use for a project but i decided to sell the car and have no use for it anymore. anyways after the transaction over paypal was completed the buyer said he got a weird cut-off. here's the picture

i dont know how thats possible, i sent the headlights in their housings the way they were designed from honda. I really don't understand how it could shoot an off output, anyone have any info? i'd be more than willing to give this guy a refund, but i dont think hes gonna like paying the 30$ for shipping. (he paid 320, he'll be getting 290 back max)
anyways, what seems to be problem? i've never seen this output before from a stock projector, if i were to guess it would be from the shielding.

Is the bulb seated properly?
Is he using an aftermarket bulb?

It almost looks like the bulb was not seated properly

I would also say bulb seating, it can treally screw up up the light output.

Here is the situation. I bought the S2K Projectors from Dagle and had him ship them to Rich at Customlightz. The projectors were sent in the OEM housing and so Rich had to remove them and then proceeded to testing them and that is where this picture came from. Rich was saying it was an issue with the bowl but not sure exactly what it was because I am no expert with HIDS. But from pictures I have seen of S2K projectors the cutoff is always crisp and clean. Rich said this was probably the the worst output he has ever seen from S2K projectors.

Dagle also said the headlights were from a wrecked (T-Boned) S2K so I am a bit concerned something could have happened during the wreck? I really don't know but just trying to look at all the possibilities.

ahh 3rd party transactions..always problems.
If there is a problem with the bowl he should take a picture of the bowl.
Looks like bulb seating to me still. Or he is using aftermart d2S bulbs.
It almost looks as if the focal point of the bulb is not in the right spot.

definately bulb seating issue or aftermarket bulb. even if the bowls. if he used aftermarket bulbs he could have damaged the bowls
