hello everbody i got these projector,halo,angel eye aftermarket headlights whatever their called. They don't look cheap they seem to be the expensive kind. it came with the car and someone wants to trade these for oem headlights. but i need to get one of them to work - both high beam and low beam lights went out.

How do i kno what kind of bulb to buy to replace the ones that are no good?

and it seems like there's some wiring done, would it be easy as just replacing them with oem headlights ?

sounds like you just have some cheap ebay projector headlights. If that's that case, then you just simply replace the bulbs and regular halogen bulbs. Shouldn't be hard to change out at all...Also check your fuse to be sure it's still good

 

yeah the fuses are good. so any kind of halogen bulbs would work? can i find em in autozone or advance auto parts ?

whatever size bulb your car normally uses is what should be used for your headlights. Happen to have any pics?

 

i took out the bulb and it was attached to a metal part that connects to the outerplug and on the metal part it had the exact bulb size. went to autozone and replaced it. for future reference

 

is it the stock housings and everything? just a different bulb? then you could just buy the bulbs at autozone or checker or whatever

 

one of those aftermarket ones, wasnt' stock "ricer" headlights some will call it....

 

so you just want to get new housings and bulbs for the lights? or are you trying to fix the "ricer" ones?

 

im confused, do the halos even turn on??

you will need to wire them to your parking lights, they arent plug and play.
