Hi all, I have a retrofitted set of Mini H1s on my Prelude. As of now, the projector lense is clear mostly, but I've seen cars and specifically other Preludes that have a sky blue, very reflective appearance to the projector lense (as shown in pic below). Is this a demon eye color? I can't seem to find info on it anywhere. Is this something I need to purchase as some type of reflective shroud that also covers the lense? If anyone has any info or know how it's done that would be great. I don't want the red demon eyes, or green, etc. I'd love this reflective look, just not sure how to achieve it. TIA!!
Interesting.. so since I'm planning to have the headlights open in the coming month, is there a writeup or is it as simple as removing the projector, taking it apart, and spraying the shield? I'd assume I will need high temp paint, or is there a known brand to u for this color that is available?
If I wanted any other color, I could do that too then?
Yes any color is possible. Take a look at the thread I linked for discussion, ideas, and more pics. You want to use a high heat paint and bake it to cure it before reinstalling it in your headlight housing.
Awesome, thanks for the link. After u mentioned it earlier, I searched on Google and that same link came up lol. I guess this has been covered before.. I'm surprised I haven't heard of it before. Thanks again for your help
