Default Old Civic DRLs

I'm the type of person who loves to have my headlights on always, but sometimes forget to turn them on and don't realize until I've been driving for a while.

I was wondering if there's any way to alter my Civic to have DRLs. Not literally, but my car doesn't have an "Auto" as an option for my headlight modes, so is there a way to force the lights to stay on indefinitely without staying on when my car turns off and still allow me to take my key out without an ear-piercing beeping sound telling me to turn them off?

You can always buy universal light add-ons and wire them to the ACC spot in the fuse box. this allows the lights to run as long as the engine is running.

That's true. As you stated he would need to independently wire them to work as a DRL. A Canadian Headlight already has that wiring.

When I had my Civic, I used a relay to turn on only the headlights. I don't remember exactly how I wired it, but they would come on when the ignition was on, but still work normally when using the combo switch to turn the headlights on. I think I used a parking light wire to trigger the relay to turn off when the combo switch was used.

You "need' !? to have your headlights on ...always?
For what possible reason ?
If afraid... then the Bus has a seat waiting for you.
Or you could buy a flashing light to strap to your Head?
