Default Least invasive way to turn on LEDs when door opens? (no toggle switch)

Going to install some red LED strips into the footwells of my red 1994 Honda Accord LX Sedan. I was thinking of either tying in to either the dome light or the door lights. The dome light might be easier, but I normally have the dome set to OFF anyway, so if possible, I'd like to either run off the door light's wires or perhaps there's a fuse I can hook into that activates with the door lights, preferably internally (instead of under the hood, which would have to run much farther in that case). I want these to run only when the door is opened, obviously. I don't need red lighting during my entire drive.

I looked up fuse diagrams but what I found didn't provide sufficient information.

Need to locate a 5v power source and tap into the door trigger, done.

You make it sound easy but that is far from enough information for someone as unskilled as me.

This is the first car I've ever tinkered with. I've only ever changed my own oil, replaced the o2 sensor, and installed a sound system. This is my first time doing anything with lights aside from replacing burnt out bulbs.
