Looks good!

I did a retro using the same projectors with clear lens for a guy I know a few months ago. Instead of grinding the TSX projectors, I mounted them from behind and used a PVC pipe to cover the gap.

If you want to benefit from the increased light output of HID, you want the beam pattern that is used with HID (they are quite a bit different). This means replacing the halogen projector with a HID projector.

Without the projector swap, you get HID output in the halogen pattern, which means an overpowered foreground (this reduces distance vision) and none of the additional width HIDs are known for. In short, HID in a halogen projector or reflector reduces night vision, offers no benefits, and generally is more blinding to oncoming traffic, reducing their vision as well.

The same applies when a HID projector is used to replace a halogen reflector, which are generally worse than even a halogen projector in terms of width, even distribution of light, and cutoff.
While an actual HID projector does miles above the stock halogen projector, my PnP kit for my integra was a great improvment over stock bulbs and I've never been flashed for blinding someone ONCE in the 2 years i've had them.

Halogen projectors shouldn't be used for HIDs, that's why.

There are specific projectors made for HIDs which provide a sharp cutoff and wider angle
