How to remove headlight fluting?
I really want a set of HIDs retrofitted in to my CRX headlights, but I'm going to be putting the JDM front end on, with EDM lights. I'm not aware of anyone that makes aftermarket headlights that fit the JDM front end, so I guess my only option is to remove the fluting in the headlight glass...
Anyone know how? Or where to pick up some aftermarket 'projector' headlights with a smooth front piece that will fit?

i've heard ppl grinding it down..
or you can make your own lens, some plexiglass, plaster, oven, and some wooden contraption... i saw how to do it on hidplanet..forget the link tho...

If they're plastic, you can sand and polish the lens to remove the fluting. Believe it or not though, if you're installing HID projectors behind the lens it really won't interfere very much with the output, even if you leave the fluting intact.

The effect is minimal, mainly because the beam from the projectors is so tightly focused.

Good to know =] I suppose I could just get the retrofit done, and if there are any severe issues just make some clear front pieces out of plexi like suggested above =]
