HID's with daytime running lights?
hey im getting a set of low beam HID's for my 1993 civic, the car has stock headlights and bulbs, it came with daytime running lights stock. i have been reading online and people say if your are going to use low beam HID's to remove the DRL but i cant find out how to do that on an EG civic, can anyone point me in the right direction?
Pull the DRL fuse.
You probably wn't get too many replies, as the US Civic didn't have DRLs (only the Canadian one to my knowledge).

mhmm alrite well ive been looking thru my haynes manuel and it says nothing about it. a friend of mine suggested that maybe i just disconnect the wire going to the e brake so it doesnt know when the DRL should be on? any help would be much appreciated!
i figured out wich fuse it was, and the DRLs dont come on unless u release the ebrake so he thought that maybe some of the wires goin to the ebrake were for that.
Weird, I use the spot on the switch that Helms says is for DRL. The low beam stays on with the high beam. If I had the book nearby Id look for you. I cant remember if it shows both US and Canadian, or if there is just a note about the DRL in Canada.
