Default HID randomly turns off

i just installed a new sit of Bi-xenon HID lights into my civic and noticed the driver side headlight will randomly turn off. I've checked all the connections and grounds and everything seems to be fine..could this be anything else other than a cheap *** set of HID's?

Is it only when the car is off or when you are at idle or.... when you are driving? And is this a plug and play kit?

itll happen while im driving, when im sitting at a stoplight, and when the ignition is off.....really its all just at any random time, and yea its a plug and play kit.

also the driver side will slightly flicker

the reason i ask about plug and play is because for my set, i actually had to cut the oe plugs off and solder the ballast wires to the harness. i guess oe plugs are notorious for trapping gunk and debris inside by the contact points. another reason but unlikely is the fact the your ballasts may have an internal voltage regulater. meaning that if there is not enough juice to run both at once it will automatically run just one. but like i said, that is pretty unlikely in your case. hardwire the hid ballasts to your harness and you should be good to go. gl

^ I've installed a lot of HID kits and have never ran into an issue with the OEM Harness plugs. If anything I would blame the kit itself for being defective. Cheap PnP kits are known to flicker and have bad connections.
