Have a couple of questions for you HID experts, Im new to the HID world and was wondering what exactly i need to do. I a 94 Eg coupe and I am planning on buying these DENJI projectors (picture attached) and need to know what kind of HID kit i need and what you guys think would work best? I also need to know if i need a Single beam bulb or a dual "high beam and low beam" bulb for these spacific headlights? Being that the projectors are on the outside. Would the projectors be High beam and low beam?

Im thinking of getting these Projectors with a McCulloch HID 5000k kit.

what do you think, also How exactly do you hook up the Ballest's?

You need single. The highs run off another wire. Get an H4 harness. Not sure what bulb is in the projector of the Denji's.

 

Ok so the High and Low beam both run through the projector??

Alright so that other bulb may be a High beam bulb..

So i Need the H4 HID kit and the lights and im good to go. Are there any Bulb recomendations?

I would put the HID in the projector side man. That is the best way to do it for sure. Just don't go above 10,000. After that you will be torturing the other people on the road. GL man.

 

more importantly the high K bulbs have horrible output. Use Phillips theyre around 4300K.

 

Yeah i was planning on going with the 4300 i wasnt going any higher then 6000 because of the color i want the HID to be white..

i doubt it's an h4 bulb if there are seperate high and low beams. H4 are usually dual beam bulbs.

 

those are usually h3 low and h1 hi if i remember. i used to have some back in the day(mine were sharkeyes brand though). you will have to get an h3c hid kit, it has the short bulb. if you use the long bulb you wont get any output because the light capsule is out past the reflector. my headlights came with the relay harness and it had a diode jumper to keep the lowbeams on with the hi beams also.
