HID install problem on JDM ITR headlights
I have a ITR JDM front and got a set of aftermarket HIDs for now retrofit on the way. My question is the HID ballast (9006) line up with my sockets for the bulb but cant get them to rotate to lock them into place. Is there anyone else who had this problem Ive searched on it cant find anyone.

Re: HID install problem on JDM ITR headlights (ITR32)
If you are trying to put the stock 9006 sockets onto the ballast I had to grind a notch in mine for then to clip on, also the wires on the 9006 plug needed to be swapped, the + and - were on opposite sides on the ballast than on the plug. maybe yours is different I was using hella ballasts in a crx

what you actually might have to do is actually take off the bases that come with the kit since i've noticed that a good portion of the time, they dont fit well nor are they able to put the connectors into the OEM harness far enough.
