Alright guys, so i have been seeing alot of the HID conversion kits in the sponsors marketplace, and i see that they are supposed to be "really easy" to install, but i'm just a little confused by the pictures.



Does the stock plug that goes to the stock 9006 bulb plug into the ballast? and then the wires from the ballast go to the new HID bulb? In a kit like this is there any cutting or anything else? Excuse my ignorance, just wanted to clear it up a bit

Crazy! so that harness in the top right corner plugs in where your old light bulb used to, and then the other end plugs into the ballast?

 

Also, in a kit like this for an EF that has 9006 in the lows, and 9005 in the highs, these would go in the lows, and allow me to still be able to turn on my highs correct?

 

yes it would..

but you would get better output with HIR bulbs
