Trying to get an idea on where to mount them

 

i took off my bumper and mounted somewhere behind the fender next to headlight area...it was a great spot actually. i think on driver side, i was able to run the wires thru the washter tank area. and other side the intake box area had space to run thru to the headlights. i wanted to keep engine bay a little clean and less clutter so i wanted to keep the ballast away. it was actually perfect and held good.

btw this was for a DC...not sure are u talking about DA.

 

^^^ yup, behind the fender is a great place. you just have to find a way to hold it tight and still. heres some pictures to give you an idea

I have mine underneath the bumper beam. That area gets wet when it rains, so ballast covers are required.
