Default Halogens & HIDs

Does anyone have specs on the power usage of the headlight system on a 2K8 Honda Civic Hybrid and HIDs with 4300K? I'm wanting to compare because the electrical system on a hybrid is different and just want to make sure it's not overwhelmed by the 4300. Thanks.

Hids use about 30-35 percent less power than halogens and produce more than 3x the light output. So it would definetly make your electrical system more efficient.

I know HIDs use less power and are more efficient but does anyone know the initial power needed to fire up the HIDs. Being that a hybrid has a different electrical system, I don't want to overpower it.
