Default Flickering HID's.PLS help!!

Ok, i got a set of p&p from a friend of mine for free. I dont like the glare of hids w/o a retrofit. However, these have a cutoff line..IDK why but it does. It also came with a switch to adjust color. NO bs. i can even post pics. The only wiring required is the manual color switch. All of it is done. Its flickers every now and then and also changes colors. I thought it can be a ballast or ignitor but it will switch from one headlight to the next. Can it be a loose wire in the switch?

THIS IS THE SWITCH...!!!

sounds like either a wiring problem or ballast problem. Post some pics of the cutoff line and the color switching. I've never seen or heard of this

i will post pics tommorrow...both of the cutoff line and the switch...the cutoff is not crazy as i hear that the integra lenses take away from the blue..the color only goes from white to bluish white, blue to a light purple...nothing crazy..i usually keep it around a light blue...the ballast has three sets of wires,..one to the light harness, the other to the bulb, and the last to the switch...the guy i got it from bought it back around 03/04...they still work so im fine..just got to wait till i get home to check the wiring and rewire the switch

your forgot the switch lol

But i would look at the switch, jiggle the wires behind it, and see if that could be it, and do the same for the balasts and waht not...

but you said at one point both headlights were the same color?

Also what temp kit is that IE: 4300k,5000k,6000k....

any hid will have the same cut off as oem if the bulb is not a complete piece of crap. it has to do with how it is placed in the socket. if the filament is in correct relation to the reflector it will retain the proper cut off..

color switching of an hid is impossible. you are just "dimming" the bulb by varying the amount of voltage going to it. this will signigicantly shorten life of the bulb.

hid color temp is achieved by the metal salts inside the bulb. different metals make different colored plasma.

do you have a 92-00 civic?

sounds like you have an h4-2 bulb which is hid low halogen high, and the hid portion is not working.

you sure they are hid? other technology bulbs, esp. led can be color controlled from a box like that. and i see no high tension leads.

Thats why there is a cut off...You have them in Integra headlights....which already have projectors.
