i know there are a bunch of posts already made but i can't find any that will really help me.

i have amber sidemarkers and i wired them up but when i turn my lights on i cant use my turn signals. when i turn the lights off the turn signals work.

i looked at some diy posts and one guys wiring confused me because he didn't color code them and i can't figure out how to redo it.

wiring is my worst. taking the fenders off and everything else was no problem.

what i used were these things my dad gave me from his electrician shop.

its a little box with 5 holes in it. you stick a stripped wire into it and a little thing inside clamps on the wire, and conects the other wires in a circuit or whatever.

i wanted the markers to light up with the parking light, and blink when signaling.

i cut the harness the the corner light then put the green wire and the red wires into it and put the power into it also.

now its all [freak]ed up and i don't know how to wire it

any help is apreciated

here u go dude follow the chart and it shows u exactly how they need to be hooked up so they blink with ur turn signals

 

oh i don't need to know what colors go to what.

i already know that i need to wire my hot to the red and green. but in that write up there are no pictures of his wiring.

maybe i just need to wire it with my blinkers only until i can talk to someone in person

 

You wired them up wrong then. I'm thinking you taped the wrong wire but have no clue since you have not told us how you have them hooked up.
