Fitment isn't always 100%, but they've worked well in the past.

Reflectors are reflectors, you should be fine. The only potential problems you'll face are:
-Fitment (I have eBay/depo clear corners, they fit fine)
-Leakage (you can reseal them with silicone by throwing them in the oven and prying them open)

I have to disagree with you on that one. why would honda/stanley put so much R&D into making a headlight with proper optics when some backdoor company in china could do it for $40 a pop? Theres a lot more than just putting a reflector behind a bulb and put it in the housing. If the curvature is off even slightly, its going to make a terrible beam. Ive seen a lot of the aftermarket lights for our cars, even the oe style ones, and the reflectors are useless, with terrible optics.

If they put so r+d into the OEM lights, why are they terrible? Its a combination of creating a good light while keeping it the way Honda wants the car to look. Stanley can only work with what they are given, and they were not given much with the stock civic lights. Ive had a few aftermarket with free form reflectors that were far better than OEM. The nicest one I had was from autocarparts.com if I remember right. It actually had a cutoff.
