dim head lights/high beams?

is there any way to dim the headlights or high beams?

i have a 94 teg and i want to drive with the hi beams on but i dont want to blind people. so is there any way to make the high beams less bright

If you just want the high beams to appear lit, you can install city lights in them.

I think some daytime running light kits will step down the voltage to the high beams to make them run dimmer than normal.

City lights use a 5 watt bulb, so they are not very bright. They're basically equivalent to our parking lights.

alright thanks so thats the only way? is there any way i could put like a reflector in it so it wont be as bright?

What is your purpose for doing this? As I said, some DRL kits will dim the actual high beam bulb, and they will be on all the time while driving if you have the headlights off.

if you check the wiring schematic of alot of GM cars, they run the two high beams in series to produce the twinkly DRL lighting.
not a difficult thing to create with a couple relays and diodes.
