Civic 2010 bulbs
I'm going to order some stronger low beam bulbs, but I can't remember which bulbs are low beam and which are high beam.
HB4 low beam and HB3 high beam. Is this correct or the other way.
Also which is the best low beam bulb upgrade for brighter light, not blue or hids.

Low beams are 9006 / HB4
High Beams are 9005 / HB3
Low beams are always on the outside. High beams are always on the inside. (When looking at the car, head on.)
Honestly the best halogen style bulbs I've used are made by PIAA. They're just pricey. Working down the line, Sylvania Silverstars and Nokya's. If you go Nokya, you want the Cosmic White, 80w, 5000k bulbs. Outside of that, the rest are just generic blue coated bulbs. I remember getting a batch of generic blue bulbs in just to see if we could get rid of them, but they all lit up and looked exactly like a stock halogen bulb. I now use them in cars for the body shop

All are awe about the place of the bulbs as well. I have set the four Hb3bulbs inside the car as same as also set the hb4 outside the car. I hope that All the people have awoke about that bulbs. I still use it. It is give nice lighting result. I wish that You have already got it.
A 9012 can be fitted into a 9006 (HB4) socket with slight modification, and provides a significant increase in output.
If you want "stronger" low beam bulbs get one of those "high output" bulbs by Sylvania, Philips, etc. They are available in 9006. They use clear capsules and have a tighter filament wind and different gas mixture (some advertise the bulbs as having xenon for marketing purposes). They are at the higher range of legal light output. The downside is they may not last as long. They also have more lumens output than PIAA or any other tinted bulb. Much cheaper too!
GE Nighthawks, Sylvania Xtravision, Philips Hi-Vision are some examples.
The best non-HID alternative would be to use 9012 as stated in the previous post.

I am going to fit a pair of Phillips X-treme Power this weekend. I am interested in the longer beam with a slightly brighter light. They now have them in HB4.
