Default City Lights

Is there a way to use the factory USDM 92-95 civic headlights and still have a city light? I love the way they look but i also like the factory glass headlights.

They used to sell city light kits, but that was a very long time ago.

All you really need is a 194 wedge bulb (see below), socket, and wiring. You can find the socket from a junkyard. Then just drill a hole in the back of your headlight and insert the socket. That's all there is to it.

you can get the 194 sockets at the auto parts stores too, I used to get them to make the kits in the 90's easy to do. make a kit for about $10, sell it for $50

You can find city light kits that simply fit into the existing H4 bulb housings, and don't require any permanent modification to your headlamps. They shouldn't cost more than $10-$20 for the pair, including bulbs.

If you're going to drill, drill directly below the normal bulb in the reflector.

The bottom of the reflector is only used for high beams, and only to shine light up. This way you won't have any detrimental effects on the low beams.
