i can't find the correct housing for some hid projector's......i know i could use the stock ones but i saw some on a site and now i cant find them their halo headlight housing's and you can use projectors on them

halo headlight housings is abit universal for what you're specifically looking for

just because they say that it will work doesnt mean that it will work very well.

the projectors in the halo headlights are very crappy.

 

i know i have the tyc ones right now but im looking for the ones that a H.I.D. compatiable i cant remember the web site ive been looking for it you can buy the housing with halos and they compatible with the xenon kit

 

headlights use bulbs. there's different forms of bulbs. almost every single bulb currently available in halogen form is also available in HID form (aftermarket wise)

the only reason why a company claims that their headlights are "hid compatible" is because they use a bulb that you can find in a HID application. for instance i can claim my OEM headlights are "HID compatible" also, b/c there is a HID kit out there that can fit my application.

generally halo headlights use H1 or H3 projectors and are very sub-par to what OEM equipment standards are. and I mean in quality, beam pattern, and optics.

a halogen optic should only use halogen bulbs, a HID optic should only use a HID bulb.

the halo headlights you speak of are meant for halogen bulbs only. and like i said... they claim its "hid compatible" just on the simple fact that you can find and aftermarket HID kit to fit the headlights.

just because it fit.... does not mean it works well.

 

i realize that but on the headlights i have say you cant use halogens because the housing will melt!!! i want housings you can use for halogen bulbs the ones i have are ebay jdm rip offs
