bulb size help.

hi guys, i was wondering if there was a size difference between the 3496 turn signal bulb and the 1157a bulb. I know the 1157a is amber and the other is not but are they the same size? thanks in advance.

The bases of the bulbs are the same, it's the wattages that are different.
