I’ve bought a pair of LED headlights as a replacement for my stock HID…love it… it works well in the first month, but last week it suddenly flickering. Checked all the dash and they all look good. I searching some auto forums but no solution could be found.
Guess it may need to add resistors for the bulbs, so I bought a pair so called LED Decoders to try. Goodness, the decoder is amazing, the lights stop flickering after install! Just simple plug and play,
But I still couldn’t figure out what’s wrong with my bulbs, anyone having headlights flickering issues or solutions, your post will be very appreciated.

BTW, I just install the LED headlights on my BMW 428i 2015 for a try, the light is much brighter than HID but it was flickering. I may prefer an HID for my Honda.

Yesterday find some post about LED headlights anti flicker issue on other forum, summarize it and post later

 

My frd's Honda Civic install the new LED Headlights for replace his HID,2 days later start flickering, we check out the alternator and battery both are fine,
Fuse 15 voltage 13.9 on both side of fuse
Alternator belt was already very tight checked bottom bolt
He went to the 4S, one technicians guy said the watts and working frequency of the new LEDs are difference from the original one, flickering, flashing, interfere, dashboard "error code" etc will happened after auto computer detected the difference.
Now some LED decoders are as a tool to imitate the original working frequency to pass the detection.

 

It would help to get LED kits with canbus functionality to remove the errors on the dash

I had the same issue with my Honda Accord MK7 then I found a solution in a form of a Ballast that I bought from xenons4u. It's a life saver!
