Hello,
I have looked for this answer in many places and cannot seem to get a straight one. My question is....I have a 1991 LX and I have found on eBay a set of projector headlights that say they will fit an 88-89 4dr. Are the headlight housings the same and will this work with my car? Please help. Thank you in advance.

i just got a set the side markers wont fit thay can but u need to get some hardware i just got a set look for eney light that fit a 91 thay can be made to fit trust me i got mine to fit but dont like them because of the 2 screws on the side get eney lights that are the 91 thay will fit even if thay tell u thay dont u can make it work u can use the stock mount only problem u need to re ajust the lights after words but if u got time u can make the 91 civic ones work stay away from crx lights lol

 

there are ones thatsay 88-89 4dr and 90-91 2/3dr civic/crx
which ones will work. and what kind of work am I looking to be doing to make them work for my car. Thanks

 

i know i got them i was just trying to install them the lights fit the sides markers will with some diy but if u want a nice fit the 3dr civic 91 will work or if u want get the 89 lights and the 91 sides i dont like the black sides so im going amber so 91 is my option

oya ps there a pain to install u need to remove the bumper filler lol other then 2 bolts that are in the worst place posible its all easy lol if u go with the ones u fount u need to remove the plastic clips and find screw clips

 

So go with which headlights and which markers. Cause I found a set that states 88-89 4dr projectors with the corners. Here's the link...let me know what you think.

ya i got the same ones if u want i just got a sick deal on a jdm set off a si u want mine i can give u the pices i made to get them to fit my buddy just got them to fit lol it dident need much we used some plastic cube pice that is used for the intearer and used the screw to hold the corners on if u want u can buy mine for a bit less if u want i realy wanted the si set lol and not the i got theas i finely got a sick deal for them talk about a pain in the *** lol if ur intrested my email is linklink3@hotmail.com i will add the parts u need to get it to fit if u want i got ebay to

 

what kind of condition are they in? Any pics of them on the car?

 

there out of box just today i got them lol in the morning i only took one out and wired it so there drop in and ready to install just tonight i lined up the houseing to see if thay line up and thay do so i had them half installed on one side only then i hit that problem figured it out then not even 2 min after a buy y called me telling me he has a set of jdm he will give me if i lend him my engine hoist lol so in my head im like hmmmmmm took me a wile and i went to see them and there nice he is even give ing me a hid kit with them i was like omg lol so if u want ill sell u mine with out the out the crazy shiping cost lol

 

of i want i will install the side just to show u i was going to pick up the jdm ones my buddy got me tomorow and install them but i can finish hooking them up to show u u dont mind if the bumper filler is not in do u lol its a pain to take out lol

so theyve never been driven on? and not in the weather? and have you tested to see the sturdiness of the mock up you used and if the lights show corretly

 

there never ever take en out of the garadge lol there mint not a single scratch and i tested them the only thing that thay lied about is u need to hook 2 wires for the halo light up lol i did it already the passenger light is still in the box and never opened but it whoule need to be wired to get the halo to light up i tested one and it works well looks nice i found a way to add another halo to the other lenz but u need to open the class to get to it i got a diy thread on how to do it its super cheep to

ya its a 91 civic dx 4dr i just found the only diffrence is the corner lights thats all the rest are the same the only diffrence is how thay bolt on the corner lights 91 is clip and one screw ,89 is 2 screws on the side at the same place as the 91 clips u can even screw threw the clip mounts thats what i did i drilled a tiny hole and put a screw threw it it works and i will take 5$ off the ebay price and will wire the halos and give u the clips u need and screws to hold the corner lights on that sound good

 

if u want i will list them with pic on ebay for a buy now price so that u can pay via pay pal and its all ligit sound cool

ya there both black i dont know what a pic will solv but oke tomorow i will take some o whats ur email ill send them to u and if ur intrested let me know because i may list them on ebay if u dont want them also a thing i wanted to do to them is a brow lip i cut out out of paper to give it a look and wow got to get some made if u run them man now im stuck debateing what set i want lol the halo or the jdm ones lol

i got a 2 pics of whats the diffrence the 89 is like thiss

and the 91 is like thiss u can clearly see that there the same just cut the clips sides and make them flat and drill a hole threw them thats all u need to do to make them fit even all ef parts will work lots unless is out of a jdm whitch need some ajust ment

 

ps thats not my car lol ill take a pic of it installed on one side tomorow after work also u intrested in a 93 civic cluster with tach that will fit in ur ef to with some moding im trying to find a si cluster got a deal on one got to see how good it looks tho lol let me know
