91 integra hid problem??????

alright so heres the deal I have a 91 integra for a winter car that im bored with and want to put some hids on it now a friend of mine gave me some extra ballast he had lying around and I went ahead and orderd some 9004 hid bulbs now when I went to pull out the connector for the stock bulb its huge and my hid kit wont plug into it now I know I have the right bulbs and I did some research online and all the hid kits for this car have the same connectors as what I have no my issue is do you have to replace that huge connector??

what kind of HID kit do you have first off? There are many different HID kits out there. Some have harnesses that require you to hook it up to the battery also and some are just direct plug and play. If yours is direct plug and play, you should have one end that will hook up to the socket and another plug coming from the ballast that plugs into 2 wires that come out of the HID bulb.

Don't put HID in 9004 headlights. It will be ALL bad and NOTHING good. 9004 headlight housings are crap anyway, and it'll only be worse with HID.
