Icon2 2008 Accord EX - Lighting issues

I have recently bought a used 2008 Honda Accord that has some lighting issues.

First off the drivers side headlight is brighter than the passenger side. I have changed the bulbs, with the same result. It may be a bad ground, but I'm not sure how to access the ground wire or where it runs.

The beam on the drivers side seems to be unfocussed. What I mean by this is that it seems to throw light everywhere and the passenger side seems to be much more focused. The passenger side also only seems to go so high (is cut off at a certain height.) I've checked the reflectors and they seem to be the same shape. What can cause this?

The lights also needed to be adjusted as one was higher than the other. This I figured out, but it's difficult to get them exact as one is focused and the other is unfocused.

Please help.
