so my 03 tl passenger headlight just turned pink which means its needs to be changed. i called the dealer and they said the bulb will cost i think 160 or 1 something. thats too freaking much for a bulb. so i have thought of 3 options:
buy cheaper bulb, buy 6k bulbs , or new hid kit for 6k bulb. My question is can i just buy 6k bulbs and put it on my factory setup or do i need a kit?

 

look around online. You can get stock Philips 4300K for around $80/pair. Avoid anything higher.

 

i was about to get 6k bulbs so can my stock system handle it ?
